Inbred towns

Bridgewater in Somerset. I had a pitch at Bridgewater fair about 15 years ago selling stuff. I was amazed at the ugliness of the whole town and encountered lots of people with truly wierd things wrong with them. Also, trying to sell them anything was virtually impossible as they didn't have any money and couldn't really grasp what I was trying to say to them. I spoke to other traders who told me that a lot of them came from tiny hamlets in the hills round the town and appeared every year at the fair. I can only imagine what was going on with brothers, sisters, cousins etc. after the first day, it was on for three I was disturbed by the whole scene. I had never been, or haven't been anywhere since as wierd as there in my life. Needless to say I couldn't wait to pack up and do one, never to return again!
that's a film right there

Leek is a weird place. Found myself at the market they have there once, counted about 5 bearded women and had my change handed to me by a woman with two fingers.

Bwahahaha top thread this.

What about Uppermill , not been for a couple of years but I've heard off people that it's gone downhill.

Lancing, maybe some southern blues have heard of it, it's between Worthing where my wife sister lives and Brighton.
Driven through it and Hills have eyes spring to mind. , my wife's sisters son and 2 mates got attacked there once, they were 15-16, the men who attacked them were in their 40s. All they did was walk pass the men who one had a young daughter about 4 and brushed the daughter , he did say sorry. The men chased them , gave them a few kicks and punches.
This was about 3pm in broad daylight.
