Mate I don't physically know what your going through but my sister had a brain tumor about 6 years ago when she was 24, she was having trouble with her eyes and the doctors and optician put it down as poor eye sight till half a year later they noticed the tumor after she gave birth to my niece (her second child).

I'm not going to lie but it scared us all as it was potential life threatening I don't know what grade it was but it was pretty damn severe, she also went Hope Hospital but they could only remove part of the tumor leaving the root and a possibility of it regrowing again which it did a few months back but she was took into radiotherapy and all seems ok now with her, she seems healthy and enjoying her life at 30 years old with her 2 great kids. She will obviously have to keep visiting the hospital everytime it regrows to have more radiotherapy but obvioulsy thats nothing when you go through what your going through now...

Guess all I'm saying is just get through all this mate I can imagine its scary as hell for you and I hope and believe you'll get through it and when you do pal you'll be at home in no time with your step kids and hopefully you and your missus will be expecting a child soon....

Hang in there mate.
i'm glad you wrote this mate, really glad. 6 years and counting gives hope to all of us.

Good to hear mate, I just found it uncanny the position that you're in is almost identicle as what my sister was in 6 years ago.... It's a scary thing brain tumors but once you get past the hard part mate at the start you'll feel much more relief.

Just stay stong through it all and you'll beat this and I'll be looking forward to reading your post when you do :-)

Take care Bingo and keep the site posted.

I'd not seen the thread on the other site. Hope all goes well.

My wife & POC's mum has just gone into remission(ish) for Cancer. She kept herself going through the Chemo by being positive and so brave.

The phrase 'It is what it is' was her crutch from what I've seen being positive is the best form of treatment.
