So every time a club has a bad season, it's because the club has "lost it soul"? Because if that's the case we must have lost our soul hundreds of times. It's a textbook kick us while we're down piece by a piece of shit journalist with a long history of doing exactly that at every opportunity.

The whole thing sounds like a dinosaur bemoaning that British football has moved on from the beer and banter culture into a professionally run international business, I imagine you wouldn't struggle to find people like this at every single modern football club.
