Individual Match Tickets

There is Tim, loyalty points.

I’m all for loyalty points being used, and I only have a few thousand, certainly not one of the big hitters.

But, I think the club realizes that the only way the gap between those that don’t have many points and are trying to do 20+ games a season and those that already have > 20,000 is when that latter member dies !

So instead they’ve gone for the free for all lottery.

I think (sticks on armour and tin hit) something based on a rolling total for the last 5? years is more suitable ?

Newbies have to put in the effort for a few years to get in the top tier, and those that have put in the effort need to keep doing so to keep in the top tier. And, the points awarded are based on the ticket price paid.

I know this will/maybe upset those 20+ year veterans, but I’m just trying to find a middle ground solution.

PS : Season ticket holders maintain priority over match day members.

PPS : Away games have a percentage issued to match day members and you can’t do more than 3? a year.

We’re talking matchday buyers loyalty points getting windows, they would only need 2 or 3 windows, maybe 2000 +points, 1000+, 500+, then free for all.

Do you not think there are enough at +2000 that most games will never go less than that ? And my suggestion still goes, because if I’m at 0, I could probably only get >2000 after 10 years ! (more likely more)

But as I already have > 2000 I do like your suggestion

Nobody should try and guess the points priority windows because we don’t have the information. They really should be staggered to reward loyalty.

Doubt it, to get to 2000 as a matchday fan that’s 200 games so 10 a season for the last 20 years. Seems a lot to me. When did Matchday fans start getting loyalty points anyway?
Think a fair few games would go to 0 points to build up points. Maybe have a 250 window so 25 games under your belt gets you a window.

Mad that some tourist can attend the derby or last home game despite not putting in the yards with lesser home games. I've been going home and away for years and had an ST in the past yet I will lose out on the derby and last home game to some tourist **** this season. Introduce the points system for home games, the club won't lose revenue in Ticket sales.

Luckily I've seen a few trophy lifts so don't mind it but still perturbed.
