Our scouting team got us Mangala
Out of all the players they've spotted, I doubt that's the one they'll put on their CVs.
He also just flies in on tackles from what I've seen. Nico like in that way.
I suspected as much when I read his name.

I'm not sure what your point is. Gabriel Jesus, DeBruyne, Mendy, Walker, Sane, Bernardo opportunistic? Sounds like we've done a good job as you had to go back 3 years to find one that didn't work out :-)

He looks a way better passer of the ball than our ball playing cbs tbf.
I can see why Pep would want someone who can hit a long pass like that, with our new found pace.
Defensively, just have to see.

I would've liked to have seen Mangala be given another chance, but it seems pretty clear that's not going to happen. Not seen much of Martinez, but given the price he seems a fairly pragmatic choice, especially if he can cover at left back too.
