Ederson was an unused substitute for Brazil last night. I'm not sure he belongs on the injury list any longer.

My mate was injured during a Sunday League pub match, one of the players called for the Magic Sponge, we’d forgotten it so one of the subs who had a bottle of Ribena ran on and applied the juice. It didn’t work as it turned out to be a Cruciate Ligament injury which finished my mates footballing days.

The thought a sponge can help medically is laughable but every team had the Magic Sponge.

He finished the game so can't have been that bad. He just lands a bit funny after reaching for a cross. Gets up and limps a bit, has a bit of treatment, carries on.

It looked a sore one, and he looked in real discomfort. But as you say, limped on till the end, so hopefully nothing beyond that. Would be good if he missed the next international which is pretty meaningless to them. Mind you the friendly was meaningless as well.
