The point was actually that he has been running through quicksand since coming back from injury and has struggled massively to create separation. That being due to a niggly injury that is being managed is far preferable to the other option.

Off injured in a pointless game on international duty once again… silly man. Seems like its every time he plays for England he gets injured and City suffer. Surely he knows more than anyone he is injury prone and wouldn’t risk anything at this stage of season. Hopefully its nothing major and he is available ASAP
