Injuries - 2023/24 | Ederson cleared to return to training (p 146)

John Stones injured again playing for England after 9 minutes.

We should sue the FA it's a disgrace that we nurse him back from injury and they play him back to back in 2 meaningless games.

At some stage I think he'll have to bag off International football to extend his club career unfortunately he's made of glass.

I hate International football its shite.

What has Waistcoat Wanker learned about City's players in these two games that he didn't know before.

None ,apart from Rico who should've played 60 minutes in one of the games, ,should've played more than 45 minutes each.

It is an odd feature of modern day football that the more fans become disinterested in the seemingly endless run of largely pointless international games the more the players are keen to play in them.

While no player ever thinks they’ll get injured, an intelligent guy like Stonesy knows he’s at risk and still chooses to play. It’s hard not to draw from this the take that he values potential success with England this summer more than success with us.

Of course it is Southgate’s fault. What the fuck was he doing starting Stones two games in a row. He’s an absolute weapon.
