I think it runs deeper than that bud. Mentally he struggled after the racist stuff with mendy. Maybe lockdown didn’t help. Who knows why but he is not the same player for us anymore.What can Pep do to make him stay - give him more game time. It is up to Pep.

Bernardo still looked better than anyone else when he came on yesterday. Such a shame to think he won five trophies in 18/19 for City and Portugal and looked genuine world-class. I think he will be a tremendous purchase for another club. I agree about lockdown. He is clearly an emotional person and perhaps just needs a new challenge in his life. agreed. thought he looked very good yesterday.. Blimey first diagnosis from Dr Southgate said he was a doubt for the final against Italy.
