Does anybody know what was Phil's injury, or should I say 'the injury'? Right now it looks like a foot transplant gone wrong!
Ducker just said he "over flexed" his foot but the damage is "unusual" .. a bit concerning but hopefully they're just being cautious

I’m more worried about De Bruyne, he’d be out for a few weeks now only to be fit in time for the stupid international break when Martinez will play him in three games within the week/ten days he’s on international duty, straight after the injury (which they had exasperated in the first place by playing him with existing injuries).

Here’s the full story:

From Google search

How long does it take for a hyperextended foot to heal?
Most minor-to-moderate injuries will heal within 2 to 4 weeks. More severe injuries, such as injuries that need a cast or splint, will need a longer time to heal, up to 6 to 8 weeks.

And the lad was seen with a boot on.

Haven't a clue what over flexed means, regarding a foot.

After googling seems to be a toe injury (usually big toe) that has been bent backwards, causing ligament damage.

Well if he over-flexed, the picture might help you what went wrong.

Out until after the international break.

Over flexed his foot in training but damaged his foot in unusual way so the City physio's are being extra cautious.

Its from Ducker in the Telegraph.
When is next international break
