Disappointing news if true:

Blessing in disguise. It's going to be a very long season, let him rest up and get ready for the business end. Mahrez has had a long break, he can carry the team creatively for the next few weeks.

Blimey first diagnosis from Dr Southgate said he was a doubt for the final against Italy.
That'll be 2 months if true!

Yes I'm sure it's Southgate who makes the medical prognoses around the England team and not the massive staff of very qualified doctors and specialists.

And it's completely unheard of for injuries to take longer than first hoped to heal, or for a manager to simply lie about the availability of a player.

Disappointing news if true:

I’m more worried about De Bruyne, he’d be out for a few weeks now only to be fit in time for the stupid international break when Martinez will play him in three games within the week/ten days he’s on international duty, straight after the injury (which they had exasperated in the first place by playing him with existing injuries).

Here’s the full story:

Injuries are part of the game which I understand will happen at anytime but not going to lie, I'm fucking gutted to be being cheated out of seeing Phil for just one minute, never mind another month or so.

gotta say a month is less than I expected when pep said "out for a while"

Does anybody know what was Phil's injury, or should I say 'the injury'? Right now it looks like a foot transplant gone wrong!

Out until after the international break.

Over flexed his foot in training but damaged his foot in unusual way so the City physio's are being extra cautious.

Its from Ducker in the Telegraph.
