There's no hindsight involved. Everyone knew we needed a striker and a left-back in the summer. We also need to consider a new CDM as this is likely Fernandinho's last year.

Txiki deserves criticism for our transfers this summer. That's my opinion. It's a forum where we're allowed to share opinions.

England did it with Stones . In fact Stones has only played for England in the past 2 months..

not sure Stones plays with an injury - but the same should apply to all nations. They must be accountable in the same way clubs have to toe the line by not being able to use one of their players if they refuse to release them to an international game because of injury. It seems to be one rule for clubs & NO rule for international teams

Quite right & my opinion is that you’re talking rubbish. Txiki has done nothing wrong & our club is well run

No he won't. We'll just finish as high as we can and go again next season, like we have done every other time we've not won the title.

As long the owner and the board have the ambition for the club, i think it's fine if the club doesn't win a title every season. Surely it will be a hard lesson to learn but our club is too ambitious to give up and we will try it harder next season.

We've made the same mistakes time and time again with Txiki though. We win the league and don't strengthen the team enough to keep us ahead of our rivals. That's why we've only retained the title once under Txiki's reign. He isn't beyond criticism.

Txiki has done nothing wrong?

So don't you think it was obvious we needed a new LB and CF in the summer? Don't you think we made a mistake in pursuing Kane for the entire summer only for it to fall through with a week or so before the window closed? Grealish is a class player, but did we really need him over the positions mentioned above? That's just this summer.

Our club is successful and yes, it's hard to say it's not 'well run', but there are still some areas of the club that are ran terribly (not necessarily Txiki's department though) e.g. supporter services.

That's true. It is very difficult. It's even more difficult when the person in charge of transfers doesn't seem to have a sensible policy in place to secure players in positions where we're desperately short.

My first priority supporter wise is MCFC, internationals are definitely not my priority.

Where do players get the bulk of their earnings from, playing Club football of cause.

The way some international manager flog our players is a disgrace and as for playing them in friendlies that is ridiculous. Pick uncapped players for friendlies and see what they can do.
