I agree unfortunatelymy unpaid opinion is his season is over. Already had a hamstring injury that clearly Wasn’t recovered. If he’s out 4-6 weeks like many hamstring pulls, he’s done for the season. A shame.
Ake has been playing with a knock as well Pep said the other day so him not playing tonight and having longer to get over it might be a blessing in the long runprobably out for longer now compared if we let him come back healthy. its a risk we took it means bit more playing time for Laporte/Ake next 2-3 weeks.
Strange that nobody has asked Pep about how Stones is. I would guess at least a couple of weeks but I’d rather know!
I wouldn’t be surprised either way but I don’t want to assume the worst and normally somebody asks.Think his season is likely over.
You were one of the ones yesterday saying that we were pulling a flanker with Stones and Walker.I wouldn’t be surprised either way but I don’t want to assume the worst and normally somebody asks.
You do realise I’m not Pep?You were one of the ones yesterday saying that we were pulling a flanker with Stones and Walker.
Well thanks to the gamble, we will definitely be without one and probably both for the rest of the season.
I didn't have you down as being naive, but if you don't think manager's including Pep don't lie or are liberal with the truth when discussing injuries or tactics with the press, you are.You do realise I’m not Pep?
I actually said Pep doesn’t lie about injuries and I don’t think he did.
They both trained yesterday so I’m still not going along with Walker is definitely out for the season.
As for Stones Pep took the gamble and I think he was right to do so given all the circumstances.
No point in having a fully fit squad if you are out of all the competitions.
