We miss him bad not just for him playing but it also allows cancello to pay in his best (though not natural) position.....that seems harsh on Zinchenko who deputises well but isnt as good.

I think we will see him in Madrid... maybe it was a tactical substitution...Big shame for John tonight. Clearly wasn’t ready. He looked distraught going off. Hope we see him again this season.

Don't think so. Went straight down the tunnel so looked like an injury.

Playing Stones tonight was obviously a gamble but with 5 subs available to use it was one worth taking. Shame he couldn't make it to half-time as it cost us a substitution window not that Pep used them all anyway. Hoping it's not too serious for Johnny Boulders though.

my unpaid opinion is his season is over. Already had a hamstring injury that clearly Wasn’t recovered. If he’s out 4-6 weeks like many hamstring pulls, he’s done for the season. A shame.

Ake has been playing with a knock as well Pep said the other day so him not playing tonight and having longer to get over it might be a blessing in the long runprobably out for longer now compared if we let him come back healthy. its a risk we took it means bit more playing time for Laporte/Ake next 2-3 weeks.

Strange that nobody has asked Pep about how Stones is. I would guess at least a couple of weeks but I’d rather know!

I actually said Pep doesn’t lie about injuries and I don’t think he did.
They both trained yesterday so I’m still not going along with Walker is definitely out for the season.
As for Stones Pep took the gamble and I think he was right to do so given all the circumstances.
No point in having a fully fit squad if you are out of all the competitions.
