He was on the bench, but Guardiola said he wasn’t fit enough to play I think (which begs the question why name him as a substitute?).

He's been on the pitch recently and not looked fit enough to play! Really need him to find some form and fitness quickly if we're going to win the league and CL. When on form he is excellent and keeping the ball moving, creating from deeper areas and timing those runs into the box but he's been sloppy and largely uninvolved. Alongside Rodri in Madrid he was abysmal.

The first scouse-sounding shitty journalist starts the press conference off by telling Pep that all the fans were not happy with his team selection for the dipper match!!! He responds by saying he was in the hotel in Madrid & knows who was fit & who wasn’t.

But surely the fans know best……:( :(

The journalist has obviously been reading this forum & the comments from just a handful of the usual ungrateful fans. The fact that most fans completely understand Pep’s dilemma is totally wiped to one side by the biased dipper loving media.

Fans should Beware what you say on here - it’s repeated on TV in the most negative of ways.
