Still think Stones and Walker are being rested. No need for either today.
need one of them or else it's a real tough situation
Could it be a back 3 of Dias, Laporte and Ake with Jesus and Zinchenko as wing backs?Looking like Diaz at RB against Madrid
I think it will be whichever is the fittest, assuming one of them is fit enough to playi think walker will be chanced to be honest and give stones another week as we have dias and laporte fit.
I agree up to a point. But very few players are fully fit at this time of the season. Certainly not de Bruyne who looks as if he could aggravate his ankle injury every time he playsNo player should be risked starting a game to possibly further aggravate a current injury (if not fully fit) no matter how big the game is.
Walker and Cancelo are fast enough to play wingback but Jesus and Zinchenko?Could it be a back 3 of Dias, Laporte and Ake with Jesus and Zinchenko as wing backs?
Cancelo is suspended for this game.Walker and Cancelo are fast enough to play wingback but Jesus and Zinchenko?
We can get away with 1 medium paced fullback (Kyle’s fast enough to get back as required) but surely not 2?
I know that (of course).Cancelo is suspended for this game.
If Walker and Stones are out we’ll be distinctly short of mustard cutting equipment, although I’ve never understood the concept of cutting mustardI know that (of course).
My point was that a pairing of Jesus & Zinchenko as wingbacks wouldn’t cut the mustard - in reply to a bloke who though we should do just that with Cancelo out and maybe Walker too.
He has been for the last 9 days.Pep”s press conference coming up. On this occasion he needs to be economical with the truth
