Fitness plays a big part. Our players are not up to speed yet. Inter played a very rigid disciplined system designed to snuff us out defensively and then looked to expose us on the counter or breakdown. It worked especially in the first half. Ederson had great save at the end of first half and relatively easy save from shot of Martinez in the second hald. Inter had few dangerous counter attacks, but dear Lord - its the least you have to concede at this level.
xG is far from ideal, but its usually a proper indicator of overall course of the game.
