I've been thinking for a while that England with a front 3 of Sterling, Rashford & Kane can win the world cup. Then the international break happens & not a chance. They are all brilliant in the Premier League it's crazy how bad they perform together for England. People say it's because they don't play with each other often enough but no national team has a majority of players from one club do they? England are crap & scared of attacking.

England lack a midfield that is of a worthy top quality.

Sterling has balls threaded to him by the likes of Silva and De Bruyne, Kane the same with Erikson.

Even players like Fernandinho, Gundogan Dembele, Pogba, Matic etc... England don't have anywhere near that sort of quality in midfield.

If you put David Silva or KDB in that England team I think many will be surprised at the difference they could make.

Looks like both of ours got through the Brazil game unscathed, Jesus missed a couple of chances, awful game though, finished 0-0, and it flattered them both.

Spain have Thiago, Busquets, Iniesta, Silva.
Germany have Kroos, Ozil, Khedira doesn't even make the 11.
Belgium have De Bruyne, Dembele, Nainggolan doesn't even make the squad.
Brazil have Casemiro, Fernandinho, Paulinho, Renato Augusto.
France have Kante, Bakayoko, Pogba, Matuidi, Rabiot.
Even Croatia have better options, Modric, Rakitic, Kovacic.

Even countries that are struggling have far better options; Chile, Argentina.

That's where we are truly behind and that's why we are crap. Some will say we've Wilshere, Barkley, Alli, Chalobah, Lallana to come back and offer options but we're still way behind the other countries.

If I was a City player, I would announce my international retirement. That was so Feckin shite! Turned over at half time for Ambulance on BBC 1, more entertaining and more exciting. This is the worse England team ever managed by the worst England manager in living memory. We will be lucky to get out of the group stages. To any England fan intending on going to Russia, don't bother, save your money!!

Tonight reminded me of us when we were really shit. You sit there watching it but not quite believing what you are seeing. You then realise, yes we really are that bad and clueless, not only usuless but going backwards and with no light at the end of the tunnel. Even worse driving us into that tunnel is a blind train driver who is totally lost.

Argentina (5th) vs Peru (4th)
Chile (6th) vs Ecuador (8th)
Colombia (3rd) vs Paraguay (7th)

Spots 3rd to 5th up to grabs. All 6 can still qualify although Paraguay and Ecuador looking less likely. Argentina can do themselves and Chile a favour by beating Peru, Chile have to win tonight with them being away to Brazil in the last game. Hope Argentina win, can't have a world cup without Messi plus our City lads. Also hope Chile win because I think we'll get Sanchez in January and it'll be a big boost for him.
