Internationals 5th-11th October

Well what a bag of shite that England performance was.Ritual humiliation awaits in Russia.

Would have loved to have seen stones come into midfield a bit more like he did a few times later on - Dier was just a clueless ninny who wanted to drift back.

He needs to go now or be told he is going to work alongside a top coach, if we can get one, to learn. He is insipid and inspires no confidence or passion. Tonight was like watching eleven individuals who were sent out with no gameplan whatsoever. I don't care that we have qualified from a shit group it means absolutely nothing. Southgate is just not good enough to manage at the top level. Still he wears a smart suit and always says the right thing in interviews. No wonder we are a laughing stock.
Yep.smart suit and says the right thing.in the right manner.
Which is why Ron Greenwood got the england managers job over Brian Clough.on the day that particular decision was announced, his team went to old trafford and smashed them 4nil.thats players, playing for the manager.
All we know about gareth is that he was weak and stamped on in a big match, and missed a penalty in another.
There is nothing else to say about this man,yet he leads the national team.
Beggars belief.

Funny those ratings because I recall Sterling the guy with the supposed 'poor final ball' battling away with 2 Slovenia defenders before laying one on a plate for Rashford 'mixed final product' only for him to try and be Mr Fancy Bollocks instead of just bending it in.

Also how anyone for England got more than a 5/6 for England is a fucking joke.
Basically....

Split-screening the Chile and Argentina games, the Chile game is good but the other game...

Apart from Messi the rest of Argentina's players look shit scared of trying to do anything for themselves. He's their main creative threat, their goalscoring threat, the guy who links play together. I'd find a way to get Dybala or Icardi on, probably take Di Maria off who's offering nothing at either end.

Big chance for Benedetto, has to score.

I thought Rashford was very poor desisions making all wrong, he is promesing but has a long way to go, very overrated. Stones and Sterling look nervous too me not the same players as when playing for City. Sterling should quit intetnational football the booing is so so wrong. A lot a people in the media should take a hard look in the mirror . The treadment this young men has had in the media is a scandall and it still going on. Rashford is getting completly different treadment. Why was he not taking off Sterling though not stt his best was alot better and looked more likeley too score
Fair comment

Messi hits the post and Chile miss a sitter, it's like these 2 are having a competition of who wants to make the biggest meal out of getting to the World Cup. Argentina currently in the most vulnerable position, although Chile's last game is Brazil and Peru could fall at the expense of both.

Must say though, South American qualifying matches are definitely a level up from the European qualifiers.
