I think that if you are even remotely savvy then you get used to them. Problem is that if you aren't, or just use social media/online shopping only very occasionally then you are vulnerable. If they just successfully scam one person a day in the way they did with the person I know, then you will be wealthy very quickly

New one received today, lots of news on the internet and in local papers today, warn all the FOC's out there to beware of text messages and never click links from them.
