It's not all the bars, just the big beer halls. The Hofbräuhaus has been strictly no football colours for at least 20 years, they won't even let you in wearing a scarf.
It's not only match days either, it's seven days a week.

Went in there in July, when we were over for the Audi Cup. 100% for tourists and overpriced, there are far better places to have a drink in Munich.

As Bayern Blade says, there are many better options in Munich. I reckon, though, that the best place for us to meet up on the day of the game would be the Augustiner Keller, on Arnulfstrasse (just up the road from the train station) again.
