Munich has got one of the best Metros I've ever been on. A group day ticket for 4-5 adults will take you from the airport to main station (where the Meininger is) for about 8 quid. Last time five of us shared a "Partner" ticket for 3 days unlimited travel on the U in Munich for about £15. You don't want to be pissing around with mini buses.
