Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

I just called the Merseyside police. Told them about this case.
Asked me to call back in 2 years time as they were a bit busy investigating an attack on a bus in the Anfield area 3 years ago.....
lol funny when i wrote to my MP complaining that Merseyside police inability to find anyone for the coach attack. He or someone from the home office ( i think ) said i should send my complaint to Merseyside police to investigate lololol so merseyside police investigate merseyside police ! a police force that turns a blind eye to its fellow scousers lol

Maybe ,admittedly only my opinion,City, the rats and the premier league did try to sort it out ?much like a teacher would do with two arguing school kids?
Told them to sort it out between themselves as if it goes any further it will only effect the brand and in turn effect the sponsorship and ultimately their share of the money
neither club would ultimately have anything to gain by it going further?

It would be like turkeys voting for Xmas!

don’t know what people actual want?

I hate the scouse rats as much as any one ,but if we was to get them banned the league would be poorer for it ,not morally but financially?,maybe that is the reason ?

football at the end of the day is a business ,if we take out ever competitor that ever does us a wrong we would be soon left with no one to compete against !
i dont like the idea City took 1m gagging money to carry on playing in a corrupt league. When the powers at be have been trying to screw City.

What you are saying is that some clubs are bigger than the premier league it self and that cant be good for the product ( ps i agree with you sadly ). So those clubs can behave as they like because with out them the product wont sell so well if say like Rangers, liverpool were kicked down a few leagues.

What action did the premier league take against the hateful 9 ? what sanctions ?

If this had been the other way round City would have been hung, drawn and quartered

But do the police need City to make a complaint or can the police act on stories or articles like Samuel ?
No idea mate as I ain’t a copper. If I were to guess, I’d guess they have enough crimes to chase where the victims have complained & want charges pressed, without chasing stuff where we’ve not handed them any evidence.

Could be a mile off tho as I’ve got no facts or experience to back up my statement.

I do believe that there is a ‘digital’ team based out of London that specialises in digital crimes, but again cba checking so might be wrong

Can somebody post this thread on RAWK please.

For some strange reason, that I can’t explain, there’s no mention at all of Liverpool hacking City’s player database.

Actually, there’s no mention of the coach attack either. Hmmm.

i read that but how can you use the courts to hide your wrong doing ? I dont pretend to understand the law ;) i can understand that sometimes its best to keep court case out of the press. But to stop something being investigated seems wrong.
They can’t. But the threat was enough, both from a financial point of view but also the risk of losing goodwill and access. Not a chance in hell that the likes of the Mirror risk alienating their biggest cash cow

Lol when I mentioned it on another forum that thread I had started about the hacking was closed down and I was threatened with being kicked off.
Sadly after I posted some of liverpool history on a liverpool thread I was thrown of lol

Totally agree with u
But this is the way of the world unfortunately,

and when this allegedly happened City was not at the top of the food chain ,not compered to the rats anyway ?

our owners always play the long game ‘know ur enimies and keep them close ‘. Is something like people say ?

in the long run we WILL have our pound of flesh ! I am sure of this!

but for the moment ,yes I agree ,part of me wishes we gave them all both barrels!

but that’s why I don’t help to run a country !

I know you are joking, but there is a very pertinent issue here..should the club have reported it to the Police and frankly,if they didnt there must be some reason why not,and I/we have to respect the club decision not to do so. The Police will only invesitgate if someone approaches them. Whilst the club may have reasons for not reporting matters, should they have a moral duty to do so? Did they do so? My perspective is that I dont like scousers getting away with this kind of behaviour. They are behind the Superleague just as much as Utd. Both have American owners. Its all about money to Fenway and Glazers, and frankly they want to adopt American practices in the Premier league.Salary caps, superleagues etc..What have they ever done for their communities like City ? People criticise City but show me one club that has changed the face of a community like our boys.

That's what I thought
I have always suspected that City agreed a settlement because we were concerned that our own security may have been lax. It is clear that Liverpool acted illegally but if, for example, staff at City were lax with their passwords, perhaps sharing them with other staff members (I have worked in such cultures) then we could also have been prosecuted for allowing the data breach.
Presumably a lot of data on this scouting system is information about young players which could make or break their careers. Would we have been open to action from their families if we had also been culpable of losing this data?
The Information Commission can sanction penalties up to 4 per cent of a firm's turnover for losing data (even after firms have been hacked). That could cost City up to £24m. Perhaps we were happy to sign an NDA and take £1m from LFC.
