Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

They copied City. Deliberately. That's what good organisations do. You look at the most successful product on the market and you reverse engineer it. In commerce they call it commoditisation.

Absolutely copy and improve is the right thing to do. But what they’ve done is industrial espionage and they should be held to account.

They need punishing, if it was us the world would stop. I don’t think it had any disastrous implications as some are saying here. I don’t know who they signed that kind of time that we would have been in for. Wish they had snapped up some of our crap we bought in that period!

We had to hurry up the signing of Fernandinho because of this. 3 league titles 3 league cups and and an Fa cup. Vindication for avoiding the weird cult.

You could twist it and say it worked in our favour. He was a big part of us winning the league his first season.

Bollocks, we were buying him anyway with nobody else interested. We had to rush it and probably spent more than we were intending to to get it over the line.

It helped us though didn’t it. I’m not saying that as a reason to defend that weird lot. They need the book throwing at them. I meant more the silver lining is us getting an amazing player a year earlier, enabling us to win the league.

I agree with mystic Mat. There must be great reluctance in the FA and Premier League to open the can of worms, but the lid is already off. The regulators will have a hell of a job trying to justify why they did nothing. The regulator has to act and answer questions eventually or the story only becomes bigger. There is a little cloud growing over the Kop, and it's not going away.
