Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

The thing we know is that all across football you can’t damage the brand, it’s not about right or wrong but if you damage the brand then you will be punished. The reason is the risk of losing sponsorship & global tv deals.

the biggest money makers are prem & uefa.

we are in a catch 22 that in order to prove our innocence & destroy our competition we have to take all this shit.

prem will not do to Liverpool what Formula 1 or the RUgby did to similar rule breakers as the media would go mad. Tv revenue would be destroyed. So like in all politics, someone will pay much further down the chain.

Imagine if we took uefa & epl to court & proved everything that has happened in a corporate espionage scale, it could destroy the brand & impact our earnings.

seria a has never recovered & im certain that’s why it will be put to bed, but some fcker will get their commupance.

Hard to quantify the loss we suffered. They could argue that our loss was the same as we would have charged a club for access to the data. Less than a million I would have thought.

We could have not settled, and grassed to the FA but probably would have ended up with much less in compensation.

in 2013 we were fighting our FFP battle with UEFA whilst also trying to be nice and polite when attempting to dine at Europe's top football table

Can you imagine if this was the other way around?? It would be like we had assassinated children. The witch hunt and media wankfest for punishment would be unending.
No need to imagine mate, we've seen how they've covered FFP, couldn't wait to mention it in every report in us last season even when lifting cups/parade etc. Still at it constantly now.

Or if City were to break away with other big hitters in Europe and form a European super league ( minus the dippers wont want the cheats in a new league ).
It wouldn't matter what happened to the premiership or uefa.
I have always been against a European super league, but given how much of a helping hand the dippers have had this season a d how bent the league is, perhaps a super league is the way to go , with hopefully City having more say.

If you want to want to watch us in a Mickey Mouse league, be my guest. In fact, you can have my seat for a mate (he'll have to pay for it, of course).

That will be the end for me, and, I suspect, many more.

Now you mention it, there does seem to some distancing between the three named perpetrators - 'facing misconduct charges' and their employer - who 'did not accept any liability or wrongdoing' - repeated in case there was any doubt. Maybe the miscreants were engaged in illegal activities unsanctioned and completely unknown to their paymasters.....

Yet as others have said the individuals were subsequently promoted.

Promoted knowing that City had raised the issue with Liverpool
Promoted knowing that the indidivduals had potentially committed a criminal offence in the course of their duties
Promoted knowing that a breach of trust had occurred re FA rules
Promoted knowing that the issue could seriously damage Liverpool's credibility if it came to light
Promoted knowing that the individuals had cost Liverpool £1m in damages - think about that one for just a minute. How much value must these individuals have had to Liverpool to keep them on after such an incident? Hard to think of any business which would reward staff in such a way for causing such a hit to the balance sheet - unless of course the individuals had merely done what they had been asked to do......

Maybe promoted thinking the settlement was the end of the matter but now City aren't letting them off the hook.

Does seem to back up the theory that other things have been going on between the two clubs. Given the amount of other shit, the number of smear campaigns our club puts up with and given that we accepted £1m in damages in regards to the matter then it would seem unlikely this is just us slinging mud - it's not the way the club seems to operate.

I agree its not what I really want , but having sat through a season of being screwed by VAR, the premier league this season has been the most bent season ever. So much so that come the end of the season I well think long and hard amount still being a match going fan. This season just feels I have been ripped of , the game is bent and they don't even try to hide it.
I still want the premiership but it needs an investigation into what has gone on this season

Yep agree but Liverpool have been unbelievable and would still be at least 8 points ahead if they didn’t get those 50/50 decisions all you question them on if they were 8 points not 22 points ahead with 10 games to go how would that Liverpool team cope if they lost and the margin went to 4/5 point? Well looking at them last season they didn’t bottle it for me we just went out there and won our last 14 games! So for me liverpool are one of the best teams the premier has seen fiat fcuks to that team and Klopp not the majority of there fans though that are insufferable.
