I always love these comments, that presume we've been "allowed" to win 5 titles in 6 years, get 100 points, win all 4 domestic trophies, threepeat, win a treble...but we'd never be "allowed" to be unbeaten.

I’d settle for 4 in a row or defend the CL title. Either would make the debate about the greatest English team moot. Both would make it irrefutable that this city team is the best these shores have ever seen.

Have you seen the size of the golden PL trophy? Seems like a miniature knock off you can buy for 5 bucks at a yard sale.

Much prefer the standard trophy that's much bigger and seems more real.

P.S. For the superstitious.. Apparently winning the golden trophy is a curse too since they haven't won the PL since.. and considering we finally broke a curse.. I don't think we're eager to put another one on ourselves!

Which is one of the reasons I’d love to see us do it properly.

A Pep invincibles season would look something like P38 W33 D5 104pts 120 goals for and probably multiple trophies to go along with it.


Also the idea of them having to make a second gold trophy when they clearly thought it would be a once in a lifetime thing, and give it to us after how much Wenger hates City…it would boil more piss than anything we’ve ever done.

With the players we’ve got supposedly leaving, it wouldn’t surprise me if we have a season of transition. Whilst this may sound raggy, one trophy would be great if we’re going through that.

Then, when Pep has this summers signings in time, 24/25 we win the fucking lot.
