Still can't make calls on mine. Had it since 12pm, so well over 12 hours now. Whenever I try to ring someone, it just goes straight through to orange.

Sorted it now. Turned it off overnight, still wouldnt work. I went into the settings and "reset network settings" I got a few messages from Orange and now works perfectly.

I've got it on my iPad, not sure what it is he does? My phone upgrade is due soon, not sure if to dig out the Mrs old 3GS and put it on giff gaff, try and pick up a 4GS at a decent price or upgrade to the 5. I've never really used apple before the iPad, but since using the iPad, it's really easy to use and saves me a lot of mither. I'm still not sure if the phone would be worth the extra money and any phone use would probably come second to the iPad. Decisions decisions...

I really dont understand why the majority of people need smartphones. A 10 year old phone would serve the purposes of making calls and sending messages and that is what most people need phones for. I am quite happy with my six year old Nokia 1650. Really dont understand the hoopla surrounding smartphones.

Love iPhone 5. May not be the step up from 3 to 4, but it's still a beautiful piece of kit. Much lighter than my 4, and overall sleeker and more intuitive.
