Perhaps you should read posts before typing and also being so sarcastic. What exactly did the UK achieve in Kuwait ? We merely kicked the invader back to his own country and we all stopped politely at the border. That left the Yanks seething and they did everything in their power, eventually succeeding, in going in and finishing kicking his ass but leaving a right shit storm behind. Who was their at their side ? us. I get what DennisLBH is saying, France fired missiles but then buggered off. The only countries that is always at the fight is us and the Yanks, the Spanish don't suffer from PTSD, the French only suffer PMT from fighting each other in Paris. Why are we always the ones in first last and in the middle ?

To finish my point about Kuwait, we were at the forefront of the fight, none of the Europeans led the way and all it did was start the whole mess that is now the Middle East. I know you live there so I know you will see things differently but I am sick of seeing our soldiers being shit on by our government and the yanks whilst Europe stands idly by.

Yes we did the exact above and the Kuwaitis are still fucking grateful. Whatever you think about our conduct in other wars or the rest of the Middle East, the liberation of Kuwait was entirely successful. You seem to be annoyed that we didn’t then go and attack Iraq further at that point which is rich given you’re sick of soldiers being shat on.

Yes the United States looks after itself first why shouldn't it, it was certainly in it's own interests that Great Britain stayed in the fight in WW2 but what was this obsolete kit they sold us, the 17 thousand Shermans we received were the same as US forces used, their 100 octane petrol helped our aircraft win the Battle of Britain their Sherman and Lee Grant tanks helped us win the desert war.their aircraft kept our troops supplied all over East Asia, american supplied food kept Britain alive.The biggest mistake Hitler made in WW2 wasn't invading Russia it was declaring war on the USA from that point on we couldn't lose.
