The way he kept calling Pringle "Suggs" was toe-curling. Again St Ron, we get it, we know you know his nickname; no need to use it every other word:

Brazil has taken to calling him 'Chicken' quite a lot recently. Can just imagine RIIAC sat there sulking cos he's not calling him St. Ronald of Dunmow.

If the say they will call you back - they very rarely do. What this actually means is that they don't agree with what you are saying and doesn't fit the agenda they have for that specific segment or show. Therefore you are not getting on. This happened to me a few times before I stopped listening to the station completely.

The best thing to do is phone in and tell them that you agree with exactly what spin they are putting on something and you would like to add your comments / views.
Then... when you get put thru say the exact opposite and say what you really think. This throws them completely as your comments / sentiments are already on the presenters screens. So they think they have a muppet on the line who is just going to go with whatever they are saying and it makes for easy / lazy programming.
If you do the above you will probably get cut off sharpish but you have made your point and made them look a bit silly. Try it.
