I do not envy you one bit mate. Hopefully things begin to calm down now Iran have 'flexed' their muscles so to speak
I remember flying to the Maldives on our honeymoon back in 2003, right at the height of the war in Iraq.
Have to say it was quite surreal to see Baghdad and Tehran on my flight screen.

Driving through eastern Syria, there's the Baghdad Cafe at a junction - right for Damascus, left for Baghdad. Quality road sign!
