Totally. Now that we're the richest club in the world and can blow anyone out of the water for any player we want, why should we be even remotely sentimental about someone who's been at City since he's 13 years old and has played countless first team performances. Under different managers Ireland would still be apart of this squad as would Bellers. Saying that if your face dont fit you are best off out of here. Mancini more defence minded Italian set up means that he would rather hold onto a hat load of defence minded midfielders and get rid of Ireland instead. I honestly feel we will have to find another attack minded midfielder for cover for Silva if anything happens to him. The simple solution would of been to hold onto Ireland but thats football for you.

We got fucked up the arse by Villa in this deal we may have billions in the banks but the owners have been taken for a ride in this deal big time. Ireland was worth more and we under valued him in this deal.

So best of luck to Ireland on his move to Villa a brilliant talent with a eye for goals when on form. Maybe as a mark of respect we should give Ireland the banner as a momento from his time at the club here.
