But I do think not having Bellingham out there sucking the air off of the pitch does allow for far more fluidity and dynamism.

Two things

First I am in and out of the room a bit but from what I’ve seen this is so much better than football under Southgate, proper pass and move, players joins up all over the pitch

Second why the fuss about Carsley not singing our national anthem? He’s not English. Sven was one of the nicest blokes ever in football, he wasn’t English and as far as I recall he didn’t sing it; can’t remember any fuss

Sven definitely sang the national anthem. In the world cup game against Sweden in 2006 he sung both anthems.

All that’s left is to actually find a combination in midfield that can do the job so that Kane can stop dropping deep.

I’m not a fan of Bellingham’s ‘free role’. If he plays as a box-to-box, that would suit the team better.
