It’s been at least three times that he has received the ball, done well to turn up field, and had a team mate in acres of space in midfield or on the opposite wing, with space to get the ball to them, and has completely ignored that option in favour of knocking on and losing the ball.

If you do it every fucking time the defender is almost always going to nick it off you.
