Indeed. Catherine was his brothers wife and bore him Mary. Elizabeth was Anne Boleyns daughter. The history of the politics is fascinating as beautifully written in the Wolf Hall trilogy through the eyes of Thomas Cromwell. The incestuous goings on between England, Scotland and ourselves according to Wikipedia makes Game of Thrones look like childsplay.
Oh for the good old days when Catholic Mary queen of Scots could preside over a Protestant Scotland.
Look at the world today. We’ve learnt nothing. Religion still causing conflict globally.
