i am a manchester fan and i find your choice of words are a disgrace. Tomorrow morning i will be contacting you employer to make a personal complaint regarding this issue. hope your have a really bad nights sleep worrying about it as many many more fellow true loyal city fans are going to be doing the same. After you have picked up your p45 and are driving home, do the decent think, find a high bridge or cliff and jump off. Thanks richard, a true blue

Everyone's still a bit stunned/drained/livid at this moment, but I wanted opinions on this article I discovered by one Dion Fanning of the Irish Sunday Independent. Is he saying what I think he is at the end of it? Surely journalists can't go around calling players c***s. This is absolutely appalling, a journalist worth his salt would surely never use such language, and I'll wager that he wouldn't get away with it writing for a British broadsheet. I shall keep this brief as no doubt you have little time on your hands being such a busy journalist and all. I'd just like to express my disgust over your poorly written article in which you label Manchester City players 'CUNTS'. Now, this may be acceptable in your world, a world in which you support a team from a foreign country, but in my world, Manchester, incidentally the city in which Manchester City play, this is totally out of order.

It's one thing to be a bitter and pathetic man but quite another to stoop so low.

May I suggest in future you stick to writing about things you understand and leave talk of English football to English journalists, who despite any bias somehow refrain from labelling professional sportsmen 'cunts'.

I shall be taking this further, yes that means daddy will also be getting an email.
