Irish Women’s Team singing pro IRA chant

Yeah you’re a war mongering **** for waving that City flag.

I guarantee he doesn’t have a problem with the Welsh, Scots, Irish, French etc. waving flags.

He just hates the English.
Nope. I don’t judge anyone by nationality I judge wherever they are a **** or not.
I’m English, I’m not ashamed to be English but I’m also not proud to be English. It’s just where I was born and in many ways I’m grateful that I was born there. I’ve just no affinity to the country over anywhere else I’ve lived. I’ve also no affinity to Scotland/wales Spain etc where I have property and stay occasionally. They are just places to me

Fair enough mate , I lived there for a few years till 82 , I was only kid lived in a place called Ratherfarm I think it was called near Dun Laoghaire , and it was pro IRA then granted it was the time of the Hungerstrike I can still remember H Block IRA being belted out outside Dunnes stores like it was yesterday
My understanding of what they thought was nothing more than a mild dislike to Britain overall but a fondness for the working class.

They also seemed to not want the mither going on in the north.

I’m picturing you sat at home on cup final day nearly having a stroke at all the flags on display… panicking it’s going to start a war.
You’d be best served enjoying cup final day not thinking about me.

Fair enough , but I think they do understand how brutal and horrific it was and ,in there opinion we caused it all where as I think all sides did stuff that is nothing to be proud of, that is why a lot of the Irish love the Wolftones ( I think that what they are called ) , the reason I like/support Rangers is cause I fucking hate Celtic and everything there stand for . I went to the friendly at Landsdowne Road got beat 3 1 and I have never seen hatred like it , I have been to Leeds , Liverpool and them cunts from down the road but that day was hanging spitting on my Dad the songs that day made me support Rangers rightly or wrongly weather you believe that or not is entirely upto you .
Fair enough Jack. I think they were mostly the Derry Bhoys who are extremists / low lives (a bit like the NF). They’ve certainly got an element of wrong uns but everyone I met when we played in Glasgow were good folk.

FWIW, I can across some loathsome Rangers fans in the City end at Wembley Vs Wigan who wanted to start fighting when I told them they were taking liberties celebrating Wigan’s goal in the Ciry end. I also know top Gers. I was shocked because I thought we had a connection with Rangers. There are good and bad everywhere.

I do think there is an element of brainwashing that goes on though. When I was in Dublin for the Aviva Cup, I overheard the tourist guide as I was walking around seeing the sights. A lot of their commentary seems to be an anti English. I know as a Country we’ve done our share of bad things but I thought it was a strange focus for a tourist walk:

That said, all the Irish people I know are good people.

Not liking patriotism is one thing, it was just the way you described them as cunts, which is a little harsh but ok whatever, but also described the IRA as the same thing.

You also specifically singled out the English for it as well, when you could have said British or anyone else. They wave a lot more national flags in Wales and Scotland than England these days.

Imagine reading the below, which is on the same level as what you said…

“I don’t like cunts,

People who wave the Scottish national flag, cunts.

ISIS, cunts”.

Yep, there’s a theme if you read between the lines and don’t get all uppity because I mentioned England.

Regards your second paragraph in Dublin and the posh areas around it Dalkey etc you are quite correct and that’s why they won’t be one Ireland for quite awhile yet , but as I said he my previous post , the likes of Cork , Kerry and Kilkenny will not look into the maths of it all cause majority hate the English/British and would love one Ireland .

If you look when the Queen died even the Dublin clubs Bohs , Shamrock Rovers where absolutely buzzing that 96 year grandma had died of old age , I have no issue with them hating us it just amazes me that people think they are just doing it for the craic .

Anyways am off to watch the game up the fucking blues .
