Is 9 Trophies In 10 Years A Good Return Under Sheikh Mansour’s Ownership?

It has been amazing.

If I was being picky we should have won the domestic treble under Pellegrini and beaten Wigan in the final, so 2 more FA Cups. I think the 2013 season was a real disappointment. We were easily good enough to win the league again but didn’t kick on.

I hope this year Pep can take us to new levels to retain the league and go deep into the Champions League.

Mancini was the manager when we lost to Wigan in the FA Cup final of 12/13 season. Pellegrini never played an FA Cup final.

Good roundup, that Man.

Gaz Baz's part in our transformation into a genuine title challenging side should never be overlooked. alongside the obvious people, Barry, Dr Jong and Lescott were v.important.

I loved De Jong.

Always gave 100%.

Chewed the opposition midfield up.

Another unsung hero.

We loved him and he loved us.

Those 2 De Jong chants were brilliant.

I would say 2010 is the last year of the last decade so we’re joint top with Chelsea. It’s also for the 2009/10 season.

the Gregorian calendar begins with the year 1. (There is no year "zero", and the year before AD 1 is 1 BC with nothing in between.) Therefore, its firstdecade is from AD 1 to AD 10, the second decade from AD 11 to AD 20, and so on.[5] So, although "the 1960s" comprises the years 1960 to 1969, "the 197th decade" spans 1961 to 1970.

If we win three trophies this season and then Chelsea do the same next season, I might change my mind!
Aha, of course! Don’t know why I counted it like that

will the history books have manchester city and a ( * ) when winning silverware after 2008 because its not our own money and fake

9 titles in 10 years can you just say that again WOW you wait years, and over 30 years, and people and fans are asking is 9 titles a good return hahahaha only manchester city fans can ask question like that, hahaha its in our DNA to question the good and its why i love this club and fans, we get puzzled when something is so good it has to be asked

Maybe didn’t explain myself. I think we should have won the league in 2013
under Mancini but we didn’t. Poor recruitment and our performances dipped. The same year we really should have beaten Wigan in the FA cup final.

Pellegrini’s first season we lost to Wigan around the quarters of the Fa Cup and again we could and should have won that year.

It’s being picky I know.

No problem :)

I think we did very well in the last 10 years, and I also agree we probably could have added more trophies. Looking forward to more success to come. I guess we will win the Champions League very soon.

Just one CL semi final is probably the disappointment for the owners.

The journey was always going to be tough and whether we could have won more trophies in that time for the investment is certainly debatable.

However what is a 100% success is where the club now is. Currently I consider we’re the 5th biggest club, financial sustainable and arguably we have the best squad/ manager. We are so well run and we still have the fullnbenefit of CFG and academy to come.

Favourites for CL and coming off the most successful season in PL history.

For me the trophies tell one story but the rest is the moments and we will never forget having the most iconic moment in PL history!!

Agguueerrrrroooooooooo!!!
