Fully expecting sky sports news to start the witch-hunt for a longer ban.
I expect the incident to be played at super slow speed.
From every angle.
The headbutt to be rerun every half hour, with accompanying yellow ticker tape, ex Palace players to be present in the studio to express their dusgust and shock at the horrifying and despicable coming together.
I also expect a poll to be run asking should the scouse softarse be given a longer ban then the results come through as a landslide yes.

I think the usual three games for violent conduct will be fine. I don’t actually think his intent was to headbutt him, even though that’s what ended up happening. So he’s got to pay for that.

There is a case for an extra game for “Not leaving the field within a reasonable time period” but I think he probably just stayed within that, thanks to Milner ushering him off.

For me, he should get 6 games. The standard 3 for violent conduct, plus 2 for the severity (hate to agree with Cundy, but it's true that he could easily have broken his nose) and another 1 for the attempted headbutt immediately before.

He'll get 3 though.

3 games should be enough. Most players are already injured and then he does this. They were even better without him so he shouldn’t stay away for too long. I would even suggest only 1 game since he‘s that one- dimensional and creates chaos within his own ranks.
