Is a 3 match ban enough for Nunez?

I’m not excusing it mate, nor am I saying it wouldn’t have hurt, but that was a comedy fall over from the Palace lad.

The nut was a very poor thing to do on a football pitch, something we don’t want to see in our sport, and he’ll rightly get a ban… but I’ve had worse off a kitchen cupboard door I forgot I’d left open and smashed my face into and I didn’t fall over like that.
Ha..the cupboard door bit made me laugh as Ive done exactly the same thing!

Tries to nut him with the back of his head about 5 seconds before he does, got to be worth another few games that. Every centre half in the league watching that will be rubbing their hands together after that, clearly never had to face defenders who wont just roll over for him before.

That fall was wwe level of skill and execution
Not sure either of those posters were being serious to be honest.

Thanks for posting the full clip though. The ban should be longer as he's committed multiple offences in the same game. That's what happened to Barton when he was sent off against us in THAT game in 2012:

i don't think it can be compared to the barton's ban, barton executed both of them in one go whereas he missed the first one resulting in one red card offence, i voted 3 but it won't be unfair if its a 5 match ban

It’s clear to see Nunes can’t handle a bit of usual Premier League hustle and bustle though, everyone’s going to be doing this to him from now on.

The man has trained against Otamendi for 2 years and regularly played Sergio Conceição's Porto up against Pepe, who were far worse at this kind of stuff in those 2 CL ties than anyone we've played domestically in the last 5 years.

He's played 6 seasons of professional football, I doubt Anderson is the first CB to try and get under his skin, and he's never been sent off before.

Probably just a bit too wound up on his home debut and losing, I wouldn't mark him down as Alan Smith 2.0 just yet.

The pressure he is under now is x10 the pressure he would have felt in Portugal..

Thought it was pretty soft tbf. The sniper that they usually let into Klanfield, decided it was more fun to shoot that Palace player now that Mane isn't there. Good job he gave up acting.
Bournmouth tried the rough house tactics on Eerling and it nearly worked. Nunez is now a marked man.
