nah not really

there are still many many worse sides than us

just frustrated is all

If you class 5 as many then you're right.

Very worried. It would be classic City to have untold riches and then get relegated.

Please let there be 3 worst teams.

I keep seeing people go on about 2 wins and we're alright again. It feels an age since we last won 1 never mind 2 and this inability to win games will be playing on the players minds. Buying players from other clubs that ain't winning either won't help and the likes of Cruz are not a patch on the player they were last year. Hughes has lost my support now and City are far too big to allow him to experiment in January. He'll only make a pigs ear of it anyway!

Yes, there are, and they happen to be in the Championship...they got relegated last season. This bad run of form goes back 40 games mate, that's a whole seasons worth, and we've managed a whacking 37 points. We're pinning our hopes on a blockbuster January, or, if not a good january, suddenly coming good according to the dictates of dame Fortune, and other teams playing worse. What's the plan for Europe next year? There is a plan isn't there?

I'm not worried, just concerned.

if we stick by hughes and he continues to produce these shite results then we could easily be drawn into a relagation battle

Well to be honest I am getting worried yes. I know we are only 9 points away from 6th spot but we're only 2 points above relegation zone too.

I pray to god we will not do a Leeds and get relegated. I think if we would we would lose all our good players and ADUG would drop us as well.

That's cheered me up.....ta.

I remember as November finished, and we started our plunge towards the bottom of the table, a number of pundits assured us that December would see a reversal of fortune.

We had 5 "winnable" games. About 10 or 11 points would see us challenging for 6th. spot again.

We've played 2 of those 5 winnable games... a draw at Fulham a defeat at home to Everton. Does anybody think we can win at WBA, beat Hull at home, and also win at Blackburn? Really?

Cos if we don't, then we are truly in a relegation battle as we enter the new year.

Just think of all those crisis clubs of recent weeks and months... Spurs (now above us), Newcastle (might go above us tomorrow), Sunnerlan' (level on points with us), Bolton and Wigan (both ahead of us)... and they're the clubs in crisis!!!

latest skybet odds for relegation this season

West Brom 1/7
Stoke 1/2
Middlesboro 8/1
Blackburn 6/4
West Ham 15/8
Sunderland 11/4
Bolton 10/3
Newcastle 4/1
Fulham 5/1
Hull City 8/1
Wigan 10/1
Portsmouth 20/1
Tottenham 20/1
Everton 50/1
Man City 50/1

so the bookies reckon there are THIRTEEN teams are more likely than us to go down

yet some people here talk like it's almost certain we will be in the relegation scrap

i wonder how many will put their money where their mouth is.

Very worried, not so much about the R word as i don't think that will happen but more worried about another piss poor season after so much expectation........how many more! forget europe we haven't got a scooby, we must be the most inconsistant team in the league we can't win more than 1 game at a time and of late have scored 1 goal in 4 games, the big worry..........no big names are going to touch us in Jan and by the end of the season our only star attraction will be wanting out with no euro football next season. This could only happen at City......i just don't see an happy ending to all this shite, we're 4yrs away from anything like top 4 will the Arabs still be around??

Tom, about three weeks ago (I think) I looked closely at the fixtures and Blackburn suddenly stood out...Atropos is ready to cut the thread?

The bookies generally dont get things wrong, but I'm not worried because i have faith that if our current run of form continues then the Arabs will send Hughes packing. They wont want a championship team.

DONT PANIC!! DONT PANIC!!!

If we are still bottom half come the end of Jan ill eat my favourite Man City woolly hat

2 wins and we are in contention for Europe, that's how tight the premier league is this season.

Which teams do you think we're going to get these two wins against....

I wonder how folk will feel if we fail to beat WBA next week?
