Soulboy said:I remember as November finished, and we started our plunge towards the bottom of the table, a number of pundits assured us that December would see a reversal of fortune.
We had 5 "winnable" games. About 10 or 11 points would see us challenging for 6th. spot again.
We've played 2 of those 5 winnable games... a draw at Fulham a defeat at home to Everton. Does anybody think we can win at WBA, beat Hull at home, and also win at Blackburn? Really?
Cos if we don't, then we are truly in a relegation battle as we enter the new year.
Just think of all those crisis clubs of recent weeks and months... Spurs (now above us), Newcastle (might go above us tomorrow), Sunnerlan' (level on points with us), Bolton and Wigan (both ahead of us)... and they're the clubs in crisis!!!

bizzbo said:latest skybet odds for relegation this season
West Brom 1/7
Stoke 1/2
Middlesboro 8/1
Blackburn 6/4
West Ham 15/8
Sunderland 11/4
Bolton 10/3
Newcastle 4/1
Fulham 5/1
Hull City 8/1
Wigan 10/1
Portsmouth 20/1
Tottenham 20/1
Everton 50/1
Man City 50/1
so the bookies reckon there are THIRTEEN teams are more likely than us to go down
yet some people here talk like it's almost certain we will be in the relegation scrap
i wonder how many will put their money where their mouth is.

2 wins and we are in contention for Europe, that's how tight the premier league is this season.
