Is anyone else not getting excited?

this is typical City. Not even thinking about getting excited until the new year starts.

Anyway, the issues we had last year might still be there and I want to see us beat a top 6 team properly playing this 3 at the back system that Pep seems to favour.
 
We are following last years template so its way too early to get giddy but we are playing very well and we have addressed problem areas so I see no reason that we should suffer the dip we had last year after a similarly impressive start

I think another laundry list of desired transfers is a bit much after arguably our most prolific window in an age. We've got the best team and the best manager, by far. And I'm sure if the choice was going with what we've got plus Danillo or bringing in JFE, most would take the former all day long.

Yeah, a team like Liverpool for example.
 
Different excitements. I get excited before every game just to see them play. A bit more for away trips

As for getting over excited about what we could do, after games like Saturday and last night yes but I soon settle down.

That's football for me

Yeah, I mean in the past we've torn Chelsea and the rags apart then gone on to capitulate to Southamptons and Evertons. I guess I just want to be sure this style and level can be consistent. We've definitely upgraded, but last year we hit the post and crossbar a lot, and we can't buy a referee in the transfer market like others have.
 
Wait until the new players really settle and we'll then see how good this team can be,the signs look fantastic.
