Happiness in Football like in life is fleeting. One minute your buzzing the next the dark dog of depression is shitting on your duvet & humping your leg.
Last few seasons I have been too concerned with results at the cost of enjoyment because unlike the old days we all have high expectations now, whereas in the past we just enjoyed it as much as we could because we expected the worse & took our pleasure where we could.
Some of the football we now play is beautiful, like art almost.
I want to win but for me I am just gonna enjoy the ride & see where it takes me. There is enough shit in life without worrying about footy, you have to enjoy the good moments & the way we r shaping up it looks like exciting times ahead :)

I'm enjoying how we're playing and what we're doing, some of the best football i've ever seen City play but I'm waiting to see where we're at come November before I get really carried away. Another 6 weeks playing like we currently are, hopefully looking good to qualify from our group in the Champions League, still in the League Cup, top 2 in the league or within 3 points of top and i'll start getting exciting. Not asking a lot then!

I am trying that too Karen, not really sure if it is working or not. Defeats always hurt but when we were shit we got used to them and I just enjoyed the day and hoped I would see some good football...and the odd win. I am try to go with the philosophy that we have some wonderful talent now so I should see some excitement every game. As for the OP's question I never get carried away watching is I need a three goal cushion before I can even think about relaxing lol!
