Re your first point, Arsenal don't have to lose (though it'd be most welcome). If we win 3 out of the last 4 (or win 2 and draw the other two), it won't matter what Arsenal do. Totally agree with you on your second point, though. Let's not kid ourselves. Beating Real is by no means a given.

Oh yeah I get that but once a loss comes from them(and I do think/hope the barcodes do it tomorrow) it’s naive to just assume we’re done and dusted for title 1.

Yep Real is absolutely massive and no point contemplating any outcomes other than dealing with them. Anything past that is for another day.
 
We've won the league. That's why I don't really concern myself with it. I knew we were gonna win the league the whole of this season, even when we were 11 points behind Arsenal at one point. We're always gonna win the league. There just isn't another team strong enough to go the season and finish above us, not with the quality we have.

The UCL is a different story. After 15 years of the Sheikh takeover, we still haven't managed to claim the Holy Grail. I do think it's ours if we can get past Real Madrid, though. But it's getting past Real Madrid over two legs. It won't be easy at all.

Fuck United. All they've got left is records.
 
we need to win the CL. ideally this year. not sure we have what it takes, but the recent Arsenal game and Bayern at home those were incredible top top class performances. think we need two more of those vs Real and then in the final to win.

Chelsea won CL 2x under Abramovic since their 2004 takeover (within 17 years), basically in around same 15 years Mansour bought City.
Liverpool also won it 2x since 2005.

no fucking reason we shouldnt deliver the one with the big ears. when if not with Pep...

quite bad we never were able to give CL to the likes of Vinnie, Kun, D. Silva,Fernandinho lets not do the same with Gundo and KDB especially.

other than that imo media intentionally writing all these treble articles to beat us down once we lose to Real or maybe bottle the PL or ref cheats us out of the FA cup.
also if we manage to do the miracle they play it down as a minimum expected with this squad lol.

we will be the biggest failure and will have a bad season as per media if we win title and Fa cup but not the CL.
while United, Liverpool will all have decent seasons.
 
Hypothetically if City miss out on the treble and win two of the three, which one would you give up and why ?
 
in 8 days time we'l know exactly where we stand,a draw or win in Madrid and even a draw at Everton if Arsenal lose on sunday will do,then if thats the case happy days 'its on'

Likely most would say the FA Cup in all probability, but that would mean willingly losing it to the Rags.

Win the PL Title, Win the FA Cup and then, fate presiding whether or not we win the CL, so for me, the CL as we've worked too hard in the other competitions to get as far as we have. That's how I feel ATM.
 
We really are in a great position, and couldn’t be in better hands. The team and squad are there at almost maximum maturity, lessons learned mistakes made and now could be the time it all comes together.
We have all waited for success and how far from the moment against Gillingham, when the rags had just completed there treble, if we do win the treble how will following seasons compare.YCMIU, CTID.
 
can only look to real madrid, biggest game of the season, think having the home leg 2nd will help us massively , madrid will have to go for a decent lead imo,and i think erling will destroy them

An achievement like the treble is something you look back on and relish once it’s been achieved. Let’s face it, ALL the prem teams are on for the domestic treble before a ball is kicked at the start of the season.
Let’s just support the lads one game at a time and see where we end up.
