That would be why come and discover other inhabited planets like the earth, but doesn't make sense of the so called sightings that get reported. If they discovered earth but didn't want to make contact then it could be done from a distance that wouldn't involve the sightings being talked about. It would also, I would expect leave traces detectable by ourselves and despite searching for years there are no signs on other intelligent life so far detected.

that's because most probably they are not predators or et's and more likely earthly phenomenons
i'm still of the opinion distances are too vast for intelligent life to reach us physically

Anyone working on High Mach flows can confirm whether this is even possible:

It seems impossible..you are moving through a fluid. How can you move through a fluid without disturbing it?

It is possible but you'd have to travel at very high altitudes where air density is lower. The SR-71 flew beyond Mach 3 but had a small shockwave because it flew so high.

An alien spaceship flying at these sort of speeds at lower altitude would produce a massive shockwave. It has nothing to do with the spaceship but everything to do with the air heating up and vaporising around it.

It's almost like justifying having lightning without thunder, impossible.

We have most definitely been visited. A simple way to put it is in a few years we hope to put humans on Mars. They will be aliens to that planet.

We are an extremely young and developing species. Somewhere out there will be civilisations who were at our point maybe millions of years ago, and have the capability to do what we class as science fiction. To think anything else is naive IMO.

I think technically, commercial jets fly supersonic every day without creating a sonic-boom, because they fly faster than the speed of sound in relation to the ground, but not in relation to the air, which is what causes the sonic boom sound.

No I constantly look up but as yet I can’t help NASA with any useful info.

At the risk of sounding preachy they may have in the ancient past but the nearest stars would take light years “thousands“ to get here, Most of the scientists say no the distance is to far.

Quite alot on Ancient Aliens about this. There's loads of wall carvings/symbols on ancient ruins and the like that point to a possible alien presence thousands of years ago.
