What do you suppose to do with these people? Lock them up? Suppress them? You cannot shutdown fascism by activating your own form of fascism.

In the US the military is sworn to protect the constitution and not the president, it isn't a dictatorship. They do swear to obey the orders of the president but there are laws that exist to deal with those that don't.

The first amendment of the constitution gives everyone the right to free speech which means those in the military can have a personal view of whatever they want. If they speak and then act illegally from that then again there are laws to deal with that.

As much as we may disagree with and dislike Trump, him and those who support him must still have the right to speak just as much as we may have the right to disagree. Not allowing this is fascism.

Fascism comes in many forms not just the goose stepping in jack boots and gassing people. Its a broad interpretation
that expands into many areas of life.

-Proroguing parliament to stop scrutiny and force through your version of Brexit
-Whether its trying to overturn the rule of law because you don't like an outcome.
-Assuming that you are above the law and the rules don't apply to you even when these are the rules that you have created to save peoples lives during a pandemic.
-Taking away people right to protest
- Imprisoning journalist who publish articles which criticises a governments actions.
- Watering down Human Rights Act.
- Attempting to make the saving of a human life at sea a criminal offence.


There's plenty more out there but this along with the gas lighting from the bungling buffoon is how it all started.

As expected whatever you don’t like is thrown into the fascism blanket.

There’s things you’ve listed there that I’m deeply opposed to but it doesn’t make them fascism. Downing Street breaking Covid rules by throwing a party isn’t fascism, neither is watering down the human rights act on a more serious note.

I don’t agree with a lot of things they’ve done and continue to do, I also cannot stand the apparent corruption. But the UK is nowhere near a fascist state and I think if you lived in one you’d laugh at your claims.
