Is food rationing imminent?

Just been to tesco Stalybridge, loads of peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes could be that the good folk of Stalybridge are salad dodgers :)

Everyone rushes off to Stalybridge to find a lone Russian housewife weeping in the aisles ;)

Two industry spokesmen were quoted today as saying Brexit was unlikely to have been a factor.
The new factor, apart from weather, apparently was the price of electricity causing both Dutch and UK producers to reduce greenhouse heating.

This.

They put the season back by about 2 months to save money and we will have a bumper crop as a usual come April.

A month ago I batch cooked and frozena gallon of vegetable soup.
Full of onions, cabbage, leeks, potatoes, tomatoes, celery, pulses, carrots, red lentils, peas and other now rare and exotic produce.

I am prepared to let it go at £10 a portion.

We can meet at a neutral venue, cash only.
Can you please define your parameters for a "portion"?
I've been scammed like this before...
