Is Gaël Clichy that good?

Clichy is an adequate left back, on occasions he can look really good, but he's got a poor performance in him that's for sure. The most damning thing I can say about him at present is that, on current form, Kolarov is the better option!

Gone down hill this lad . I thought he was very good in his 1st season with us . Even Kolarov looks better at left back this season .

Given how crap the opposition were today , I'd hav liked to have seen him getting forward a bit more today... maybe he as under orders but, in the first half , at least, every time he got the ball in his own half , he stopped.... and then passed sideways or backwards..<br /><br />-- Sat Nov 02, 2013 9:55 pm --<br /><br />
