Still, I think with him and Kolarov we have a very good set of left backs.

Depending on your age he doesnt have much competition, it was probably the 70's since we last had a top class left back

Only Pearce was top class and that was a good few years before he played for us.

I thought he had a good game today. He must have won half a dozen headers, got stuck in and generally put a lot of effort in.

I too thought that he was better today. But he does seem so tentative when it comes to crossing the ball.

Much improved today, just looked more confident and sure of himself again. But it was probably about as easy a game for the full backs as we'll have all season.

I thought he was a beast in the air today.

Norwich seemed to flood a host of long balls down that side and he got it away more often than not.

Played a hell of a lot better today although his crossing is utterly woeful, 9 out of 10 hit the nearest defender.
