Is Gaël Clichy that good?

Wilshere beat him quite easily as they equalized but apart from that, possibly one of the best performers yesterday. So far this season, he looks as great as he did when he came from Arsenal.
 
Was generally very good although played them onside by being 3/4 m behind rest of defence when Hart had to come out and punch a floated cross clear and was flat footed when Wilshire scored. Is this the antithesis of a striker who does nothing but then scores?
 
He was beaten too easily by Wilshere, but otherwise played pretty well. Overall, a very pleasing improvement on last season - starting from the pre-season (saw him at Yankee Stadium against the Scousers and looked sharp there also). I didn't think this last year, but now I am comfortable with his starting ahead of Kolarov for the big games.

his contract runs out in June, so think he will go after this season.
 
He is probably the only one so far to not look at home in Pep's system. He's never been much of a technical footballer but hopefully he can improve and get more used to the style of play

Thought he played well, helped with the presses, put two fantastic crosses in and didn't give the ball away. Hard to impress as a defensive full back in that game.

Angelino is nowhere near ready on the defensive side of things, I'm not sure he has a career at left back, might make a better winger. Could have been more useful today in the first 75 but there's a reason he's not starting games.
 
I thought he did well today! Put a couple of fantastic balls into the box too Kolarov style. Seemed to tire a little bit towards the end though.
 
To be fair, he put in a couple of great crosses today that could have been turned in if someone had gambled at the back post.
 
Thought it was a bit of a mixed game for him by the very high standards others were setting, but I thought he did absolutely brilliantly in the build up play for the fourth goal. It was really good and intelligent work in tight places, which Clichy does a lot of but a lot of people miss
