Is it just me or has Kolarov...

[He hasn't got any sort of brain. Given the amount of space that was made for him in the first half, he never got a telling ball in, plus his shooting from a tight angle and 40 yards. Made Pennant look world class.

How did he make him look world class? What did he create exactly for them? Pennant had a few runs, but nothing came from them whatsoever - coincidence?

The one chance they had was a long ball from the other side from Etherington - does that mean Micah is no good? No.

Defenders defend to the best of their ability; sometimes the attacking side put in a ball that is too good to defend.

Kolarov did well against Pennant and went forward at every opportunity. He is class, just needs to learn about when to shoot and when to cross. Roberto Carlos was the same in that regard - was he useless too?!

Right I know it was a final and we were all going off our heads and that but if you think that he had a good game on Saturday you must be mad!

He gave away the ball loads of times, especially in the first half.

Made a few good over and underlapping runs but that was about it.

Oh and a couple of good headers.

Sadly this was overshadowed by his shocking distribution.

I suspect he is not respected on the pitch by the players. He wastes so many opportunities in the final 3rd by selfishly shooting from silly angles and distances. I'm really suprised Mancini has allowed this to continue for so long. It is a clear indication of a non team player, and yes, as you indicate, someone lacking a football brain. Horrible player to watch.

Just for balance, I completely disagree. He's an excellent attacking fullback. I don't know the details of the treatment for the injury but since he recovered he's been improving each game as one would expect and his willingness to shoot ensures that the opposition close him down up the pitch which in turn creates space for our inside forward to exploit. Comparing him to Pennant is disingenuous as they have different roles and priorities.

utter nonsence

In fairness if he had got slower a doctor would of had to check for a pulse
Im not sure if he has improved at all this season which is a worry. Hopefully a proper full season will see him good

lol @ the comment about making Pennant look world class. Watch the game again. Pennant got *nothing* out of Kolarov. The only player he beat in our defence was Lescott, when he came across to cover after one of Kolarovs forward runs.

Get off his case...He put in a fantastic cross that the Stoke player nearly put in his own net....and there the was another one in the first half that almost lead to a goal.....Yeah , he was wasteful at times but the lad will learn and be great asset to this club in the next few years.

Are you his mum? This isnt a registered charity you know - its a business, so no, I wont get off his case. He either shapes up or ships out. I dont think he'll make it. My opinion. I contribute to his wages, so I think im entiltled Mrs.Kolarov.

Even IF you were right - two crosses in 90 mins for a player given the freedom of the left wing and should specialise in that particular skill, aint all that now is it?

I disagree, so you call me his mum, grow the fuck up......fortunately it isn't up to you whether he stays or goes. Oh, and the word you're looking for is 'entitled'.....Take care Mrs Doubtfire.

Ooops, crikey, pushed an extra 'L' - well spotted, get a life. But,shows you were paying attention. Not getting involved in the playground stuff.............mind you, you are wrong and Mancini obviously thinks so too as he's made replacing him his number one priority!

The same old people just can't help themselves. There have been threads like this on Silva, Balotelli, Dzeko and Yaya this season. I suspect the ones on Dzeko and Kolorov will go the same way as the others by Christmas.

Some people just never, ever learn.

And Prestwich Blue...he made Pennant look world class? You have truly outdone yourself with this one

He's been fucking shocking all season. Slow, can't defend, tries shooting from stupid angles and distances.

One thing I will give him is he offers an option all the time out on the left

I don't think anyone is under any illusion that he's been great this season.

But he's nowhere near as bad as people make out in my opinion, and has plenty of room for improvement, he's been here only one season, had injury problems, and a burden of very high expectations.

I see no harm in giving him more time, i despise the attitude of some people - get rid of a player after one underwhelming season, and throw a load of money at someone else. Just because we're rich doesn't mean we shouldn't give players a chance to develop.

It's embarrassing. Kolarov clearly hasn't settled into life in England yet
